Recovery 101 

Recovery 101 is an association at Sheridan College that focuses on helping individuals who struggle with an addiction or have been impacted by addiction in their lives. We offer a safe place for students to gather and share their experience, strength and hope.

We meet weekly at Trafalgar campus from 11:00am - 12:00pm every Tuesday at Sheridan Union in the Clubs room SC210. All students are welcomed to stop by and learn about addiction and the recovery process. All member information is confidential.

Sheridan Association for Sexual and Gender Diversity (SASGD)

 

The Sheridan Association for Sexual and Gender Diversity is dedicated to creating an environment at Sheridan's Trafalgar campus where LGBT+ identified students will thrive, not only academically, but socially. We organize LGBT+ oriented events on campus, provide resources on gender and sexuality, and have a weekly social gathering open to all students.

Sheridan Women in Film and Television Club

Sheridan Women in Film and Television (SWIFT) is an inclusive organization that empowers and encourages women (and their allies) in media related programs to stand up against inequality in school, the workplace, and the entertainment industry. Through events, meetings, and discussion, we work together to make a difference for ourselves/those around us, and to pave the way for future people with similar ideals.

Sheridan Chinese Students and Scholars Association (Sheridan CSSA)

Sheridan Chinese Students and Scholars Association(as Sheridan CSSA) is a non-profit organization who mainly serve Chinese Students. We aim to help Chinese students live better in Canada. We are recolonized by Consulate General of the P. R. China in Toronto officially and we are the only Chinese student club in Sheridan Trafalgar campus.

Tennis Club

Tennis Club

We aim to provide the best tennis experience and atmosphere you can get in Sheridan. We have regular group games and tournaments for doubles and singles and also offer professional coach to make you the best tennis player you can be. No matter what your level and your goals are when you join us, our goal is to get you excited and active in the game of tennis. Have fun enjoying the game we all love!

We represent the International Student Community at Sheridan. Our mission is the promotion of cultural diversity and the building of a strong international family. We want to help create a home away from home, and to encourage international students to be involved with their new community and help to have a more comfortable life in the new country and college!

A Club for students in the Media Fundamentals program to get together, give each other feedback on assignments, and collaborate on creating media both inside and outside of school. At the end of the year, we host a film gala to showcase films made by Media Fundamentals students

A bi-weekly open discussion of information security news, trends and personal projects. Is Sessions an open forum for students of the BAISC (ISS) Program. Every two weeks we gather to discuss industry happening, big news, personal projects, or talks by industry professionals.

The Film and TV Club

The Film and TV Club calls all students from Media Arts and Bachelor of Film and Television to join in our goal to fundraise for our annual Screen Arts Awards Show. Join us by organizing and planning fun events such as casual gaming / tournaments, pub nights, talent shows, karaoke night, school wide film screenings and more. Earn volunteer hours and celebrate the hard work at the end of year awards show.

Meditation Club

Keeping the mind and spirit healthy is necessary towards improving your outlook on life. If you feel stressed or feel the need to quiet your mind for a short while, then Meditation club is the place for you. Here we will relax the mind and go through creative activities. There will also be guided mediations to help you improve your life. New members are welcome to join anytime.

Ever since the Great Comedy Wars of 1752, Improv Club has been proud to call itself the 4th most okay club at Sheridan College. Improv is all about exploring and celebrating being on the spot and at Improv Club everyone has the opportunity to have fun doing it through improvisation games! Gaming, Analysis, and Discussion Club (GADC)

We are a group of students with a shared interest in Game Design; and are open to any student who is interested in the field of Game Design. We play as a group, we analyze as a group. In this way, we build on each other’s insights and backgrounds to better our knowledge of game design.Each week we choose a newer game to play so that the next we meet as a club and formally analyze the game: be it gameplay, graphics or story
