We advocate for students to have access to quality education and create safe space for students to thrive in.
We want students to feel comfortable on campus and offer a variety of spaces to meet, study, and hangout. Our student spaces are inclusive and aim to support student wellness. That’s why we work with students, and use student-led feedback to drive on what exactly what you’d love to see on campus.
Our HMC Student Centre expansion project is one way student voices have come together to create more accessible and intentional student spaces at Sheridan. -
If there’s one thing college students love, it’s food and at the SSU we offer a variety of food service outlets to meet your student cravings.
Whether you want to stop by the Coffee Loft, enjoy some Booster Juice, or take in the full-service restaurant in The Marquee, there’s plenty of tasty food and drink options to meet your student budget.

In alignment with our Strategic Plan, Sheridan Student Union is committed to supporting access and accountability to quality education for Sheridan students.
Throughout the years, this has shown up in many different ways - be it through supporting academic awards, collaborating on the construction of new HMC Student Centre, or providing students the space to voice their concerns and needs.
In 2022, we provided a $250,000 financial aid donation towards our first scholarship, as well as a number of other awards to create more access to students requiring financial support to continue their studies at Sheridan. -
Through partnerships with different College departments, your student leaders take action to advocate for your needs on campus. Through petitions and community outreach, SSU creates opportunities for ongoing action and conversations that lead to direct change.
Everything from supporting the Health Specialists, to signing the Gender Affirming Healthcare Advisory Committee Act, we actively support our diverse student body.

Between Frosh Week events and live concerts, to bingo nights and trivia, there’s tons of events for Sheridan students to enjoy throughout the year. We’re committed to bringing the very best on-campus, online and off-campus entertainment your way.

We connect Sheridan students to over 100+ student-led clubs and associations through seasonal clubs fairs and our new and improved, Clubs Corner. Each year, we offer new opportunities for students to connect through shared interests, explore new hobbies, and even develop their student leadership skills by starting own clubs.
