We’re all familiar with Bell Let’s Talk Day, but this Instagram account doesn’t just talk about mental health on one day of the year. It’s a daily conversation, to provide resources, awareness, and action.

For the last 100 years, The Canadian Mental Health Association has been working to promote the mental health of everyone, as well as people recovering from mental illness.

CAMH FOUNDATION

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada's largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital and a world leading research centre. They’re breaking down stigma to discover the causes and cures for mental illness in Canada and around the world.

jack.org is all about empowering young people to be leaders in identifying and dismantling barriers to positive mental health in their communities. Students who are interested in opening up chapters, are able to get the process started through their campus clubs.

Morgan Harper Nichols writes poetry and creates digital mixed media art, that serve as daily reminders. Her work is inspired by real stories - and she invites people to submit their stories to her website.

The Latest Kate is an artist and self-described “anxious person”, who uses colourful art in the form of animals, as a way of spreading positivity and gentle reminders to her followers.

MARI ANDREW

Mari is a writer, who became an artist when she was going through grief and loss in 2016, and needed a new fun form of self-expression to lift herself up. In 2018 she published a self-help book, combining her creativity with candidness.
