“I'm a fun-loving, energetic person who loves to contribute positively. One of the reasons I choose to work with the SSU is the opportunity it will give me to listen to students, take feedback to the Board and contribute positively to students' experience at Sheridan College. I am looking forward to working on different projects directed toward making lives easy for students at Sheridan College with other directors. I love the diverse environment at Sheridan College.”
What is your goal as a member of the Board this year?
1. Increased sexual health awareness campaigns
2. Easy accessibility to off-campus apartment renting for Sheridan College students
3. Partner with more food banks for a variety of groceries
What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
“I got to know about the SSU during my program orientation for Fall 2022/2023 session. There were people at the SSU booth with gifts for new students and they also explained about clubs and perks available to me.”
Are you a part of any SSU clubs/ associations or volunteer work?
“I am a peer mentor, I work during orientation to welcome new students, program presentations and help new students navigate during orientation and also throughout the term. I answer questions from students about Sheridan College and direct students to departments that can assist them to solve whatever issues they might be experiencing.”
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
Get a Master's degree
Go on vacation with my family
