About: The Sexual Health and Violence Support Committee is a student-led committee that aims to bring awareness initiatives to Sheridan that can educate students on important sexual health and sexual violence topics in order to provide tools to create a safer, aware, and trauma-informed campus. SHAVS is committed to providing support, advocacy, resources, workshops, and education about Sexual Health and Sexual Violence to Sheridan students.

Sexual Health 101 Workshop

Sheridan’s Health Centre to offer a presentation packed with important sexual health information to help students from all sexual orientations feel informed, empowered and safe.

In this workshop, you will learn all the need-to-know information on sexual health and the services are available to you as a Sheridan student.

“What is Consent?” Workshop hosted by Alisha Fisher

International Relationship Coach, Alisha Fisher, joined us to discuss consent, sexual relationships and more! Alisha will breakdown what consent is (and isn’t), share ways to cope with physical and verbal rejection.
