Sheridan Student Union has joined the call for the Government of Ontario to mandate all post-secondary institutions in the provide free menstrual products campus wide.
The rising issue of period poverty – the inability to afford period products is something that impacts the lives of many students and requires immediate action, and now. Providing all students with convenient access to free menstrual products helps to support their full participation in school activities, reduces stigma and promotes gender equality.
