Madushen, Clubs Coordinator

I am Madushen studying ElectroMechanical engineering at the Davis campus. I work with clubs and students to coordinate club activities, events, and initiatives and facilitate clubs to grow and engage with students. The SSU is a student-led organization that works towards providing an excellent student experience for all the students, identifying their needs and helping them to overcome them. Being a part of the SSU allows me to engage with students directly and work towards creating a rich and diverse experience for students.

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?

A: “My main goal would be to have more initiatives on campus for students to engage with the clubs and actively participate in their activities throughout the year. I believe that through engagement, students will be able to acquire knowledge, share values of different cultures and experience the utmost of learning, diversity, and fun.”

Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?

A: “I'm following the Electro-mechanical engineering program. I chose this program specifically at Sheridan because of the scope of technology and engineering covered by the course which aligns with my goals and mission. Also, Sheridan possesses cutting-edge, industrial and research labs which will help me to get the practice and exposure required in the field.”
