“Hello, my name is Isabelle Hua, and I will be the Davis Campus Digital Community Coordinator this year. Campus life can be highly hectic and overwhelming, especially during the busiest days of the school year or maybe you have moved from another country and feel a little out of place. As a result, I wanted to collaborate with the SSU to promote a healthier and more sociable lifestyle for our students, as well as foster a sense of belonging. What I love best about Sheridan is how warm and inviting the staff and students are, whether you’re new or returning!”

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
A: One of my main goals for this year is to encourage students to go out of their comfort zones and connect with one another through exciting SSU events. From my own experience, the greatest thing about attending these events is meeting new people from your own and other Sheridan campuses, and I want others to encounter the same opportunity. Another objective I have is to bring together international and domestic students. If I can encourage students to look past language barriers and embrace each other's cultures, this year will be the happiest I've ever been.
