Join Sheridan Alumni, the Student Leadership Development and Engagement team and the Sheridan Student Union for a series of 30-minute coffee chats – Imagining Futures: A Black History Month Special. Sheridan students will engage in an organic conversation with Sheridan alumni about creating positive change and improving equity, inclusion, and justice in our communities, and how students can imagine their futures and become change makers in their community. Students and alumni will have a chance to connect, ask questions and expand their knowledge.

Ashleigh Montague, Project Management ‘16

Ashleigh Montague is a Project Management professional. Montague is passionate about public speaking, entrepreneurship, and community outreach. Her focus is to motivate and inspire youth and young adults through initiatives that provide skills, opportunities and to develop an entrepreneurial mind for them to succeed.

As a graduate from the DeGroote school of Business with a creative mind and heart for giving back Montague believes that she has an interesting perspective on how to inspire change and impact a community.

She naturally strives to make strong and meaningful relationships, by being able to listen to others and ask the right questions to build connections. Her strengths are in learning things quickly and she is always eager to know more! 

Ganyo Soh, Social Service Worker – Gerontologist Student  

Ganyo Soh is currently a student in Sheridan’s Social Service Worker – Gerontologist program. She is a Leadership Coach for Sheridan’s Student Leadership Development and Engagement team. Soh’s personal goals are to observe, listen and act with compassionate to those who she connects with daily. Focusing on the needs of the community and understanding their resilience will allow her to contribute to society in a positive way by demonstrating an act of service. Soh feels this will provide a lifelong fulfilment of gratitude and achievements towards a common goal with others - New level of discoveries will bring her to another level of consciousness.
