As we wrapped up the Fall 2025 term, December was a month rooted in community, care, and connection across Sheridan campuses. November 26, 2025, Sheridan students, staff, and community members gathered for 'Take Back The Night' evening. Gender-based violence continues to shape how students experience campus life, impacting their well-being & sense of safety. This truth connects deeply to the significance of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women (NDOR) observed on December 6 of every year.

Here’s what happened at the 2025 November Annual General Meeting! All the Sheridan students gathered to vote on by-law changes, new updates, learn more about the budgets, and voice their opinions.
Art and advocacy met last November! The successful AdvocART on Campus led by our Student Executive of Advocacy, Christian, received positive responses from Sheridan students who participated across three campuses.

The SSU is proud to announce the winners of our first-ever Latin-American Heritage Art Expo! Check the beautifully curated art pieces and how your Student Exec of EDI, Mateo, brought his vision to life.
Share your thoughts on SSU’s Health and Dental Plan before January 31st, 2026 and help improve the current SSU Health plan for you and your peers ! The first 1,000 students to complete the survey will be entered for a chance to win 1 of 20 $50 gift cards.
On November 19, 2025, the Ontario government passed Bill 33. You may be wondering 'what is Bill 33, and why should I care?'. While the legislation has moved forward quickly, we truly want you to understand what Bill 33 is, where things currently stand, and how your student leaders at the SSU are advocating on your behalf.
We’re taking a break with you! SSU offices will be closed for the holiday season. Our last day in the office will be December 19th at 5:00 PM. In-person office hours will resume on January 5th at 9:00 A.M. Take a look at the supports available during your break.

The Board of Directors had a busy and productive month in October. We held two Board meetings, made progress in several key areas and continued our community outreach to ensure our advocacy for students is as authentic and streamlined as possible.

Sheridan Student Union (SSU) and Chartwells are proud to announce an expanded partnership that will bring exciting new food and beverage offerings to students across all three Sheridan campuses. Get the details on what you can expect in our food spaces, starting this Fall.
In July 2025, Sheridan Student Union food services underwent an operational restructuring that resulted in the closure of our SSU Food Services outlets (Booster Juice, Coffee Loft, Station Kitchen, Station Express and Bruin Coffee House).
