Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
“Some of my goals for this year are to become a more extroverted individual and to strive toward excellency in my first year of the Interaction Design program”
Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
“I am a first-year student in the Interaction Design program. Last year, I was in the Art Fundamentals program here at Sheridan, I have always loved designing and I wanted to find a program where I could be creative and be able to use programs like Photoshop and Illustrator. I discovered the Interaction Design program and decided that this was the program I wanted to go into.”
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
Reconnect with old friends
Attend a film premiere
And eventually become a student leader within my program.
What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
“My first memory of the SSU was stopping by the Coffee Loft during one of my first weeks at Sheridan. The whole place was cozy and the staff were kind and welcoming. It has become one of my favourite places to study and grab a coffee or snack! I discovered the SSU through their carts set up in the hallways, promoting the SSU and all the events.”
Which SSU Perk Partner is your personal favourite?
“One of my favourite SSU Perk Partner is Oishii Tea. I love boba, so it's always nice to get a discount on my favourite drink!”
What’s the best SSU event you’ve attended so far?
“So far, I have attended the Dog Therapy event. The dogs were adorable and the whole session was definitely therapeutic.”
