Spotlight's On: Meet Your 2025 Black History Creative Reflection Winners!

From Reflection to Recognition — this year’s Winners exhibit their creativity!

Celebrating the Mosaic: Black is Limitless

As we strive to honour Black history and celebrate all year round, Sheridan Student Union and Sheridan College created the Black History Creative Reflection Contest. Organized by the Black Excellence Committee, this annual contest welcomes students from all artistic paths to share what Black identity means to them. In celebration of Black History Month, the Sheridan community came together to reflect on our 2025 theme of “Celebrating The Mosaic: Black is Limitless”.

This year, we are excited to announce our 8 winners who received up to $750 for their creative submissions in the 2025 Black History Creative Reflection Contest. As your Student Union, we are here to empower you with creative opportunities and meaningful support!
