KC, Clubs Coordinator

I’m a returning student at Sheridan and will be the Clubs Coordinator for the Trafalgar Campus this year. My time as the Vice-President of the Sheridan Esports Club was very fulfilling and motivated me to take on a larger role within the SSU. I’m excited to help students find clubs that align with their identities and to support existing clubs through open communication.

Have questions about clubs? Want to join or start one of your own?

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?

A: “My goal for this year is to provide support to both new and existing clubs by offering all the necessary resources to help them succeed. I plan to make myself easily accessible to any clubs or executives who need my support. I am excited to meet everyone soon! :)”

Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?

A: “I'm a recent graduate of the CST - Software Engineering Program, transitioning into the second year of the Bachelor of Cyber Security Program. I chose to continue my education in the Cyber Security program because I'm passionate about online safety and want to help others make safer choices online. My goal is to become a leader in Cyber Security Awareness in Canada, ensuring our society is properly informed on all things cyber safety-related.”

Q: What are 3 things on your bucket list?

  1. Watch a Chelsea game at Stamford Bridge

  2. Travel through Colombia and Portugal with my dog Kingsley

  3. Own courtside Raptors Tickets

KC’s favourites:

Song: "Caraluna" by Bacilos.
Food: Sushi, Empanadas, Bacalhau à Brás

What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?

My first memory of the SSU was accessing the Health and Dental Plan. Taking advantage of the coverage has been a great resource during my time at Sheridan.

Which SSU Perk Partner is your personal favourite?

“My favourite SSU Perk is definitely the Tax Clinic. Professional accounting has been extremely convenient during tax season. It gives me peace of mind and more time to focus on other things in my life.”

Are you a part of any SSU clubs/ associations or volunteer work?

“I spent the last two years as an Executive and Vice-President of the Sheridan Esports Club. I also captained the VALORANT Team before transitioning into the role of Coach and Team Manager.”
