LivingWorks START Workshop Teaches Sheridan Students Suicide Intervention and Prevention Skills

The SSU is offering a free START training session to provide suicide awareness and and prevention skills. This workshop will help Sheridan students feel more confident in their ability to talk with the people they care about when there might be a cause for concern and provide the tools to help support those in need. Students who are interested in participating in the March workshop must sign up by Friday, February 18 2021.

National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

Sheridan Student Union and Sheridan College will have a commemoration of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women on Tuesday, December 6, from 1:00 – 1:30 p.m at the Trafalgar campus. December 6 is a day to remember and it is also an opportunity to pledge our collective commitment to addressing and preventing gender-based violence in our communities.
