“My goal as a Board member this year is to strengthen student engagement by building connections with various stakeholders, creating more opportunities for Sheridan students to grow, connect, and thrive. Most importantly, I’m here to listen, represent your voices, and push for positive changes that make your Sheridan experience even better!”
“As a Board Director, my goal this year is to advocate for stronger financial support systems that reflect real student needs. Having personally experienced the impact of receiving a scholarship, I understand how transformative financial aid can be.”
“My goal as a board member this year is to listen to students, represent their voices, and help create a more engaging, inclusive, and supportive campus experience. I want to make sure every student feels heard, connected, and proud to be part of Sheridan.”
“My goal as a Board Member this year is to amplify student voices and make sure every student at Sheridan feels seen, heard, and supported. I’m passionate about building stronger connections between students and their union, so I’ll be focused on improving communication and making it easier for students to engage, give feedback, and get involved.”
“My main goal this year is to transform how we approach student well-being. I want to create experiences that reduce academic stress and give students what they're asking for. I'm pushing for more flexible study spaces that stay open later during exam periods, monthly de-stress events and partnerships with faculty to create more stress-free exam weeks.”
“My goal is to focus on the issues that matter most to students at Sheridan. I want every student to feel included and valued, no matter their background, and to help create a space where everyone can thrive. I also want to raise awareness about sexual health and wellness, ensuring students have the resources and information they need to make informed choices.”
“As a Board Director, my main goal is to advocate for initiatives that support student well-being, equity, and access. Specifically, I want to focus on three key areas: mental health and wellness, financial support, and cultural inclusion.”
“As a board member this year, my primary focus will be on examining infrastructure around communication between the SSU and students and exploring new and innovative ways to enhance that experience.”
“My primary goal for this year is to strengthen the sense of community and support among students at Sheridan. I aim to establish more inclusive platforms where students can voice their concerns, share their ideas, and feel genuinely heard.”
“I'm committed to improving mental health resources and transit, while creating leadership opportunities that empower students to become tomorrow's leaders.”
“With Ontario colleges navigating serious funding shortfalls and rising pressures on students—especially international and marginalized communities—my goal this year is to advocate for more transparency, accessibility, and equity in how our SSU Services are delivered. I want to help build stronger communication channels between students and leadership, push for more inclusive mental health and wellness initiatives, and ensure that financial and academic supports are not just available, but accessible to those who need them most.”
