Slip into your comfiest PJs and join us for a fun, laid-back afternoon! We’ll kick things off with a quick look at Black history and the achievements of Black creatives in entertainment, then dive into back-to-back movies.

Island Beats is an interactive music-making experience where Sheridan students collaborate with producers and each other to create original soca, dancehall, reggae, and fusion beats. With multiple producer stations set up in the auditorium, groups will work hands-on to build tracks, then everyone comes together for a final listening session.

Join us for an afternoon of fun, music, and games! Dress as your favourite Black celebrity, strike a pose at the photo booth, challenge your friends to board or video games, or sing your heart out.

Join Sheridan’s Black Student Association for a night filled with cozy vibes, brush strokes and warm drinks! All paints, brushes, canvases will be provided. If painting isn’t really your thing? There’s visionboarding!
