As a domestic or OHIP-eligible Sheridan student, you are entitled to sessions delivered by telephone, by video counselling, or by e-counselling.

Do I have to be experiencing a crisis to use Maple?

No. Maple can be used for a wide range of challenges, from stress and anxiety to financial, legal, relationship, and everyday life concerns.

What is the Maple Assistance Program?

The Maple Assistance Program is a support service available through the Maple platform. It provides access to counselling and a range of additional mental health, wellness, legal, financial, and work-life resources.


How many counselling sessions do I get?

What if I need immediate support or at odd hours?

Maple Assistance Program – 5 sessions per presenting issue for counselling, plus legal consultations, financial guidance, work-life resources (childcare, elder care, relocation), digital self-care tools CCBT, and well-being coaching

Maple includes 24/7 crisis assessment and triage. You can access the program through your Maple account or use the central phone number provided through your account.


 

 

As a Sheridan student, you also have access to free counselling services provided on campus to support your academic, personal, and social growth. All appointments are free and confidential.
