Our Annual General Meeting is a chance for students to directly impact the direction of the SSU. At the upcoming AGM, you will be able to share your voice with your student leaders by voting on proposed SSU Bylaws changes, approve the SSU's audited statements, and voice concerns/provide feedback to the SSU. You will also have the opportunity to review and approve proposed ByLaw amendments.
Do you have an idea of change you want to see in the SSU?
Now is your chance to submit proposed amendments (changes) to the SSU Bylaws to be voted on by students at the SSU’s Annual General Meeting.
Steps to submitting an amendment to SSU Bylaws:
Write out the proposed change you are looking to make. Ensure you include the bylaw, section and item number(s) it applies to.
Get 50 peer signatures with names, student numbers and signatures in support of your amendment.
Email your amendment and copy of signatures to the Board Chairperson, David Siringo Ringo, before March 26, 2019 at 5:00 PM.
The amendment will then be put on the agenda for the 2019 AGM.
