Join Sheridan Alumni, the Student Leadership Development and Engagement team and the Sheridan Student Union for a series of 30-minute coffee chats – Imagining Futures: A Black History Month Special, where Sheridan students will engage in an organic conversation with Sheridan alumni about creating positive change and improving equity, inclusion, and justice in our communities.

Sign up for this Coffee Chat and connect with Tredel Lambert, author, storyteller and podcast personality. He will share how he uses his work in the Creative Arts to create Black Heroes in History, break barriers in the comic book space and inspire young people to showcase their own imagined futures through art.

Tredel Lambert, Visual and Creative Arts – Advanced ‘18

Tredel Lambert is a Canadian Artist who was born in Toronto and raised there, and in Aurora Ontario. He has published two books under the children’s series Hip Hop Heroz titled Jack Fly and No Chainz; this series teaches life-lessons to young people. Tredel is also the creator of YouTube series Once Upon an Illustration. Tredel specializes in Character Art, Sequential Art, Comic Art, Story Creation, and Art Consulting. He is available for freelance projects that fit his niche and is focused on developing Art and Art Concepts for Comic Books, Animations, Movies, Video Games, Manga, Animated Music Videos, and other related projects. In addition to Art, Tredel is a storyteller and a podcast personality.

Tristan Pinnock, Honours Bachelor of Community Safety Student 

Tristan Pinnock is a 3rd year student in the Honours Bachelor of Community Safety program. He is the Vice President of Academics and Equity for Sheridan’s Student Union. He is also a Leadership Coach for Sheridan’s Student Leadership Development and Engagement team and a Peer Team Lead. Pinnock wants to provide an inclusive and safe space for the Sheridan student body through collaborative decision-making efforts, empathy, and strong leadership. Once Pinnock graduates, he would like to pursue a career in Canada Border Services.
