Creating Advocacy Through Creativity🎨
Make your voice heard! Use your creativity as a tool for advocacy. The best part? This event is a great opportunity to discuss real issues that affect Sheridan students while showcasing how art can carry an argument in ways words can’t. 📣

Featuring the amazing spoken word artist Britta B, we encourage students to create art pieces that reflect real concerns that shape their student experience. To finish we are launching a call for submissions, where finished works can win a prize and be displayed. So stay until the end and create some change! 🖌️
ABOUT BRITTA B.
Britta Badour, better known as Britta B. is an award-winning artist and poet living in Toronto. Her debut poetry collection and audiobook, Wires that Sputter, was a Trillium Book Award Finalist and was shortlisted for several other awards. She’s currently serving as the Poet-in-Residence for Poems in Passage (responsible for the poems millions of people see on their daily TTC commute) and will be a guest resident of Rosemary's House, an international artist residency in Greece, later this October. Britta holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Guelph.
