Organizational Challenges to Better Serve 2SLGBTQ+ Children and Families

This keynote will focus on highlighting the different factors and influences that impact 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and identities, both in society and in the workplace, and how to create truly inclusive environments. The goal of this session is to increase the knowledge and capacity of the participants to not only recognize and support 2SLGBTQ+ people, but to also put into action the term “allyship”.
This event is open to all Sheridan and SSU employees and staff. Pride at Work Canada is an organization committed to helping employers build workplaces that celebrate all employees regardless of gender expression, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
