Here’s what you need to know about Weekend Getaway: Snowshoeing at Crawford Lake (Off-Campus):

  • This event will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Crawford Lake, in Milton, ON. 📍 

  • E-WAIVER REQUIRED. The e-waiver link will be sent via Eventbrite email on February 15th.

  • This all-ages event is open to all Sheridan Students, Staff, Faculty, and Guests. Students can bring up to 2 guests each. Guests must have their own tickets purchased for them.  

  • YOU MUST SIGN THE E-WAIVER to rent snowshoes. Children must be over the age of 8 to participate in snowshoeing. Younger children are welcome but cannot wear the snowshoes. 

  • Remember to dress for the weather! Please check the forecast and bring whatever you need to stay warm—hats, scarves, mittens, coats, and even snow pants, if you desire! 🧤 

  • You are encouraged to bring a backpack with any essentials you may require, including a water bottle and some snacks if you wish. Please ensure we take our garbage HOME WITH US and do not leave anything on the trails unless placed in a designated garbage bin. 🚮 

  • If weather conditions are not suitable for snowshoeing, a guided hike will take place instead.
