Q: Tell us about you and your role within the SSU:
“Hey, my name is Monica! My role within the SSU is to assist in making the website more visible to other students through blog contents, event pages, and news & updates, making sure that the right information are delivered to students with ease.”
Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
“My goal for this role is to deliver creative contents for students that speak to them. I want to ensure that every piece of content that we share will benefit them and will have a lasting impact. I’m excited to learn more about how to support students through creative resources and let them see what SSU has to offer.”
Q: What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
“My first memory of the SSU was the big dice game during the Student Orientation, where you could win a Starbucks gift card if you rolled the dice and had the same number. After participating, I got to know about SSU's services and learned about their website.”
Q: Which SSU Perk Partner is your personal favourite?
“My personal favourite is Osmow's Shawarma!”
