Tell us about you and your role within the SU:
“Hey Sheridan! I’m Aryan Patel, your Board of Director, and I’m here to advocate for you. My role within the SSU is to provide strategic oversight, ensuring that student needs are at the center of every decision we make. I’m committed to enhancing student life by creating more opportunities for engagement and networking. I plan to do this through regular office hours, student outreach events, and by collaborating with campus clubs and services to strengthen community involvement.”
What is your goal as a member of the Board this year?
“My goal as a Board member this year is to strengthen student engagement by building connections with various stakeholders, creating more opportunities for Sheridan students to grow, connect, and thrive. Most importantly, I’m here to listen, represent your voices, and push for positive changes that make your Sheridan experience even better!”

“Having been involved in sports since childhood, I’ve always been driven by results and a strong competitive spirit. I strive to create a meaningful impact in everything I do and ensure that my efforts lead to tangible, positive outcomes.”
As a new Board Member, what are your expectations of this role?
