Sikh Heritage Month

Sikh Heritage Month is celebrated annually in April throughout Canada to honor the significant contributions, history, and culture of Sikh Canadians. Formally adopted by Parliament in 2019, it highlights the achievements of the community—the second-largest Sikh population in the world—and commemorates Vaisakhi, the founding of the Khalsa.
