Tell us about you and your role within the SU:
“Hey, I’m Shavayah, pronounced Sha-Vay (as in Hey! but with a V)-ah.
I’m responsible for helping you discover all the amazing SSU services, events, and initiatives with ease. I create, update, and maintain the website, internal newsletter and e-mail marketing initiatives, with the ultimate goal of keeping you informed and connected. When you visit the website, check out the SheridanLife blog, or receive an e-mail from our team, I hope you feel seen, heard, and excited to discover all the SSU has to offer.”
What are some of your goals for your role this year?
“One goal is to find creative ways to make the SSU website and newsletters even more accessible, value-packed and visually exciting. I’m looking forward to working with the Marketing and Communications team, as well as other departments, to figure out how we can improve student experience collectively.”
