The 2026β2027 SSU Board of Directors Nominations are officially open! This is a great opportunity for Sheridan College students who want to step into leadership, represent their peers, and help shape the #SheridanLife.
Board members play a key role in governance, advocacy, and strategic decision-making for the Sheridan Student Union, ensuring student voices are heard at the highest level.
β Who can run in the 2026-2027 SSU Elections?
You are eligible to run if:
You are graduating in Winter 2027 or later
You are 18 years or older at the start of your term (Your term would be from May 2026 to April 2027)
You are a fee-paying Sheridan student with a GPA of 2.5 or higher

Read the nominations package carefully before submitting your nomination form.
Donβt forget to submit your application before February 6th, 2026, at 11:59 P.M. Please note that this is a strict deadline and there will be no extensions.

Not eligible to run for elections? Here are 3 ways to get involved:
Apply for the Deputy Returning Officer role and continue to support the candidate. Submit your application by January 16th, 2026.
