Study Lofts, Creative Corners, and Quiet Areas at Sheridan Campuses

Now that the term is officially underway, you might be on the lookout for places on campus to study, hang out, attend events, or just reset between classes. That’s where the SSU spaces come in, open to all Sheridan College students to use Monday - Friday from 9 am - 9 pm.

Across all campuses, SSU offers dedicated student spaces designed to support your academic life and your downtime. Whether you’re looking for a quiet study area or a social space to unwind, we want to make sure you know exactly where to find SSU spots on campus.

 
 

Spaces Designed With Students in Mind

While our Sheridan Student Union spaces remain open from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., the CSR desks and offices remain open from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. from Monday to Friday. If you have any questions, or want to connect with our staff directly, feel free to reach out here for support.

HMC Campus

HMC is home to multiple SSU spaces, all located in the C-Wing, and each serving a variety of support to the student life, depending on your college needs.

  • The Station (C-Wing, First Floor)
    A lively and open student space where you can relax, meet friends, or take a break between classes. It’s a great spot to recharge or casually work on assignments.

  • Quiet Floor (C-Wing, Second Floor)
    Designed for focus and productivity, this floor offers a calmer environment for studying, reading, or working independently.

  • SSU Offices & Boardroom (C-Wing, Third Floor)
    This floor is where you’ll find the SSU team, fitness facilities, and meeting spaces. If you’re looking for support, have questions, or want to get more involved, this is the place to go.

HMC spaces are open and accessible, giving students the flexibility they need to thrive at Sheridan.

 
 

Davis Campus

The Den
The Den at Davis is a dedicated SSU space designed for both connection and concentration, available for students to enjoy pool tables, a food spot and a quiet study area with desks, perfect if you need a more focused environment while on campus.

Tafalgar Campus

The Marquee
 A vibrant student space featuring seating, pinball machines, and room to relax or connect with others. The space also has a cozy coffee nook, making it a great place to take a break without leaving campus.
The Marquee at Trafalgar campus also offers an upstairs area that provides additional space for students looking for a quieter or more relaxed environment.

CSR Desk & Student Support
The CSR team is available downstairs just outside The Marquee to help answer questions, share updates, and support students throughout the term.

 
 

Your Voice Matters: Student Hub Feeback Session Pop-Up

Now that you have a handle on the SSU Student spaces that currently exist on campus, we want to hear more about what’s missing on campus or things you would love to see in a Student Hub if you could build a new Student Centre from the ground up. Last term, we held a fesibility study to envision what student spaces could look like in the future to better support your emerging needs. Now it’s time to share the first proposed design and get your perspective on things.

Swing by the B-Wing main corridor for an open, interactive session to share your thoughts on the proposed program and design direction. No registration needed and all Sheridan students and staff are welcome to stop in, explore the visuals, and help us catch any gaps before the project. Plus, there will be FREE Pizza from our SSU spaces.
