Starting in February 2026, SSU Food spots at The Marquee, The Den, and The Station will introduce new food initiatives and limited-time offerings as part of our ongoing efforts to support students continue to expand our affordable options across campus.
A Jacket For Your Potatoes? Oh Yeah!🥔
Dig into the cozy, comforting deliciousness of the Jacket Potato Bar all February long with the build-your-own freedom you love. Start with a hot, baked potato, then make it your own in five easy steps. Whether you decide to go classic, go loaded, or land somewhere in between, it’s wait for you at the Trafalgar, Davis and HMC Campuses.
Step 1: The Base - A perfectly baked potato, ready for whatever you throw on it.
Step 2: Core Flavours - Butter or vegan butter, salt, and pepper. Choose one, choose all, no judgement!
Step 3: Cheese Moment - A melty mix of shredded mozzarella and cheddar.
Step 4: Add Toppings That Matter - Coleslaw, baked beans, and corn. Pick any two at no extra cost, or add more for $2.80 each.
Step 5: The Finish - Top it off with parsley, crispy onions, and two sauces of your choice: Garlic, Buffalo, Masala, Mayo, or Chipotle.
Simple, filling, and fully customizable - the Jacket Potato Bar is proof that a $6 meal can still feel like a win.

New Pilot Program: Evening Eats
Following student feedback last term, we learned many students are looking for healthy, affordable options on campus. That’s why this month we are proud to launch a new pilot, Evening Eats, designed to provide students in need with a filling, low-cost meal option from Monday to Thursday between 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. This program will run throughout the Winter term, with February serving as the initial rollout period. Each Evening Eats meal includes a rice-based dish, served with beans or lentils and chopped vegetables, pre-selected based on daily availability at each location. Stop by your campus spot to see what’s available.
How To Order The Meal Deal?
Starting at 5:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday, students can:
Visit The Marquee, The Den, or The Station in person and head to the Kiosk counter.
Evening Eats meals will be displayed and labelled under heat lamps describing what’s inside. If you like what you see, get your phone out to place the order online. The Evening Eats program is exclusively through our BoostApp.io.

Once order is received by the SSU Food spots, students will be given their grab and go bag, and the chance to enjoy the food!
