Thanksgiving weekend is almost here, and so are the deadlines, midterms, and grocery bills that come with the fall season. To make this difficult time of the semester a little easier for you, your Sheridan Student Union has food at every campus, a free breakfast once a month from October to December, and a thrift pop-up to stretch your budget. Here's where to find it all.
Never go hungry on campus 🫂
Stop by the Member Service Ambassadors' desk at any of our three campuses between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM and ask for non-perishable food items and snacks. Our MSAs can also tell you about upcoming food events that can ease the financial burden.

If financial hardship is affecting your studies or your life outside class, a student advisor can talk through your options. Visit the Sheridan Hub or Student Advisement on Sheridan Central to get started.

Thanksgiving closure 🌸
All the SSU spaces, food services, and offices will be closed on Monday, October 12 for Thanksgiving. We will be back on October 13th at 9:00 A.M.
If you need to talk to someone, you can always access the Maple Assistance Program and talk to a trusted professional available 24/7, covered by your current Health and Dental Plan for domestic and OHIP-eligible students.

About Food Factory
The Food Factory is a fast-casual food outlet built for campus life, currently operating at two locations - Trafalgar Campus (Oakville) and Davis Campus (Brampton). Our premise is straightforward: good food should not cost a lot for a student to spend, and speed should not mean a worse meal. Everything is prepared on site each day; the menu is deliberately short and changes with the season, and service is engineered around the wait time of fifteen minutes! Try the hot bowls, sandwiches, and a permanent plant-based range, all supported by clear allergen and dietary labelling. Suppliers are local where possible, and prices are held steady rather than run as promotions.
