“Hi, I’m Alizeh Khan, the Clubs Coordinator at SSU! Over the past few years, I’ve been actively involved in student engagement through various roles. These experiences fueled my passion for helping students feel connected and supported.
I chose to work with SSU because I’ve seen firsthand the difference it makes in student life while serving as BOD. What I look forward to most in my role is working closely with clubs, helping them grow, and creating spaces where students can build friendships and find community.
What I love most about Sheridan is the diversity and creativity of its students. No two experiences are the same, and that’s what makes being part of this community so special.”

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
“- Make joining or starting a club easier for students :)
- Create more collaborations and campus-wide events!
- Help students feel welcomed and engaged through SSU's clubs”
Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
“I recently graduated from Sheridan’s Computer Programming diploma and am now pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Computer Science with a specialization in Data Analytics. I’ve always loved working with numbers and solving problems, and data analytics felt like the perfect fit to combine both!”

Q: What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
“My first memory of SSU was Welcome Week. It instantly showed me how supportive and fun student life could be. I remember trying Booster Juice samples and meeting the promo team, which made me feel connected and excited to get involved.”

“Osmow’s! I love shawarma, and the 15% student discount makes it even better!”

“The Diwali event! It was such a vibrant, fun event that really made campus feel like home <3”
