Q: Tell us about you and your role within the SSU
I wanted to work with the SSU because I enjoy supporting students and helping create a positive and inclusive experience on campus. I’m looking forward to meeting more students, connecting with the team, and being involved in events and initiatives that make a difference.

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
One of my main goals this year is to continue developing my communication and leadership skills while providing a positive and welcoming experience for students. I also want to connect with more students, learn about their experiences and needs, and help make sure they feel supported and included. Most importantly, I want to contribute positively to the SSU team and make a meaningful impact on the Sheridan student community.
Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
'm currently in the Honours Bachelor of Computer Science program at Sheridan. I chose this program because I’ve always been interested in technology and problem-solving, and I wanted to build strong technical and programming skills. I also like that Computer Science gives me the opportunity to explore different career paths, and I’m particularly interested in areas such as data and technology. Sheridan stood out to me because of its hands-on learning and the opportunities to apply what I learn in practical ways.
Q: What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
My first memory of the SSU was seeing a poster for an SSU event on the campus poster board. As an international student, I did not know much about the SSU or the support and services available to students. After seeing the poster, I became curious and searched more about the SSU. I learned that the SSU provides many helpful resources, events, and opportunities for students.
