“I want to strengthen connections between students and services, so support feels simple to access
rather than confusing to find. Most of all, I’d like students to feel that the SSU truly listens, responds and
represents them.”

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
“My biggest goal is to make student support feel more human, accessible and proactive. I want students to know where to go before problems become overwhelming. I’d love to create engaging pop-up events, supportive myth-busting resources and honest conversations around academic integrity that remove fear and replace it with confidence.”
Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
“I’m currently in the Sheridan College Social Service Worker pathway and progressing into the Honours Bachelor of Social and Community Development. I chose this path because I’m passionate about helping people, strengthening communities, and creating meaningful change through advocacy, education, and support services. Sheridan stood out to me because of its strong reputation for applied learning, diversity, and community focused education.”
Q: What are 3 things on your bucket list?
Release a music project I’m proud of and perform it live.
Travel to Japan and experience the culture, food, and creativity.
Build something that positively changes people’s lives on a bigger scale.
Q: What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
“My first real interaction with the Sheridan Student Union was when I visited to gather information as an international student, particularly around guard.me and student support services. I discovered the SSU through student communications, campus visibility and events, but what stood out to me was that it was not only about perks and activities. It was also about advocacy, guidance and helping students feel connected, informed and supported throughout campus life.”
Q: What's the best SSU event you've attended so far?
“Welcome Week always stands out because of the atmosphere and good energy, It really captures what student life should feel like welcoming, exciting and full of possibility.”
Q: Are you a part of any SSU clubs/ associations or volunteer work?
“I’m looking to become more involved and join the Black Excellence Steering Committee. I value spaces that promote representation, leadership and community, so I’m looking forward to connecting and contributing where I can.”
