“I’m interested in creating opportunities that promote inclusion, involvement, and support for all students, whether it’s organizing events that celebrate different cultures, encouraging meaningful conversations, or advocating for student needs.”

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
“I want to help create inclusive events where every student feels comfortable participating and represented. A big focus for me is raising awareness about the diverse backgrounds and perspectives within the Sheridan community, not just through events but through ongoing conversations. Most importantly, I want to be someone students can approach if they’re facing challenges related to equity, diversity, or inclusion, and help connect them with the right support.”
Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
“I’m in the Software Development and Network Engineering program. I chose it because I’ve always been interested in technology and problem-solving, and coding felt like a natural fit. I liked that the program combines both software and networking, so it gives a more complete technical foundation.”
Q: What are 3 things on your bucket list?
Travel to a few countries and experience different cultures firsthand
Bungee jumping
Skydiving
Q: What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
“My first real introduction to the SSU was during Welcome Week in my first semester. The campus felt really lively with all the booths, music, and activities, and it made it easier to feel part of the community early on. My friend, who works as a CSR at the SSU, showed me more of what they offer from student support services to small things like giveaways that actually make a difference.”
Q: Which SSU Perk Partner is your personal favourite?
“The PRESTO post-secondary student discount. As a co-op student commuting to downtown Toronto regularly, it saved me a significant amount on travel costs.”
