Aditya, Student Executive of Administration & Communication

Hi! I’m Aditya, the Executive of Administration and Communication at Sheridan Student Union. In this role, I oversee effective communication within SSU, coordinate administrative tasks, and support initiatives that amplify student voices.
As a Business Administration student passionate about leadership and organization, I’m committed to fostering a connected campus community and driving meaningful change. I’m excited to strengthen relationships across the student body and enhance communication and events that benefit students.
What I love most about Sheridan is its diversity, in culture, ideas, and ambitions and being part of SSU allows me to support and nurture this vibrant community.

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?

“This year, my goals for my role are to improve internal communication and documentation, streamline scheduling and meeting coordination, and enhance volunteer engagement through better recruitment and recognition. I also aim to support stronger cross-team collaboration to ensure smooth execution of SSU initiatives. Apart from this, I would aim to assist the Director of the Student Executive Team in advocating student voice to the best of my ability.”

Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?

“I'm in the Bachelor of Business Administration-Accounting program at Sheridan. I chose this program because it combines practical learning with strong academic foundations, and Sheridan’s focus on real-world experience really stood out to me. I’ve always been interested in how businesses operate financially, and this program prepares me well for my goal of becoming a CPA and eventually pursuing an MBA.”

Q: What are 3 things on your bucket list?

  1. Skydive in Dubai

Q: What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?

“My first memory of the SSU was during Welcome Week in my first semester. I remember walking through campus and seeing all the vibrant booths, music, and friendly faces; it instantly made me feel part of the Sheridan community. That’s when I first learnt that SSU wasn’t just about events but also about student support and advocacy.
Later, I visited the SSU office for some help with navigating co-op resources and found out about all the services they offer, from academic support to mental health resources and student discounts. It really showed me that SSU exists to make student life easier and more connected.”
