“I’m a Computer Science student at Sheridan and a Peer Mentor passionate about supporting students and building a stronger campus community. As the Executive of AISS, I advocate for students, help them navigate academic concerns and available resources, and work with campus partners to identify gaps in student support.”

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
“My goals are to make academic support more accessible and approachable for students, increase awareness of resources available at Sheridan, and create initiatives that address real student concerns. I also want to gather meaningful student feedback, identify gaps in academic support, and work closely with faculty, staff, and the SSU team to advocate for positive changes. Most importantly, I want students to feel heard, supported, and confident navigating their academic journey.”
Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
“I am enrolled in Honours Bachelor of Computer Science - Data Analytics. I have always been fascinated by numbers and robots. Getting into this program gives me exposure to both worlds together. Having hands-on experience with programming and learning about core computer concepts is something that really enthrals me.”
Q: What are 3 things on your bucket list?
Grabbing an internship at a Big Tech company
Travelling to Europe and Australia next year for sure
Buy a Condo in Downtown facing sea
Q: What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
“When I joined Sheridan, I saw posters around campus for events, and when Diwali event posters popped up in fall 2024, I decided to go; that was the first time I actually discovered it was the SSU who organized the event. Eventually, I learnt more about it and that it was for supporting students mainly.
Q: Which SSU Perk Partner is your personal favourite?
“I love pizza and getting a discount at Domino’s is lovely and my personal favourite.”
