Working with the SSU has been a great experience and I love the people who work here, and I'm so happy to have a job where I get to be creative and have some independence.

Q: Tell us about you and your role within the SSU
Hey, I'm Jayden! I'm the photographer for the SSU, so you'll catch me snapping photos at all the events, capturing the food options, and taking photos of pretty much everything else that we do! Working with the SSU has been a great experience and I Leo the people who work here, and I'm so happy to have a job where I get to be creative and have some independence.
Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
This year, I hope to improve upon my photography skills, and to get to showcase all the amazing experiences that the SSU has to offer.
Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
I'm in BFTV! I chose this program because of how well it will set me up for a career in the film industry, and for the awesome training I have had as a Producer, as well as the epic experiences yet to come.
Q: What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
I discovered the SSU by checking out the events they had to offer in first year, and then I slowly learned more and am now so grateful to be able to take advantage of all the perks that the student union provides.

Go Skydiving (for real, not just indoors)
Q: What's the best SSU event you've attended so far?
I loved the boat party, and getting to take advantage of any live music or movie nights.
Q: Which SSU Perk Partner is your personal favourite?
The Presto discount is definitely my favourite perk, and a great way to get around when I don't feel like driving or want to be more cost efficient and environmentally friendly.
Q: Are you a part of any SSU clubs/associations or volunteer work?
I'm volunteering on the screening committee for my program.

I'm a Junior Designer on the creative team; my job is to make all of our graphics for events, initiatives, popups, and swag, look as good as they possibly can. I love playing an active role in my community and the SSU is my way of giving back to the people who have made my experience here at Sheridan so incredible.
