Q: Tell us about you and your role within the SSU
As a customer service representative for the SSU, my role includes assisting our students with queries regarding our health and dental plan, our campus equipment rentals, as well as simply assisting students with basic directions to and from campus. My job is to make sure many student inquiries don’t go unheard or unanswered and that they are satisfied! I am also responsible for ensuring that students have access to our SSU facilities such as the den and various different spaces. If you any general questions regarding our SSU events, navigating Sheridan college as a new student, or just need a helpful source for any inquiries, we are here to help you and to make sure you feel included and heard!
Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
becoming more involved in any ssu initiatives
making sure I am able to answer all campus emails on time
becoming a helping hand to peers and co workers around me!
Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
I am currently in the two year cybersecurity program. I love this program a lot as it incorporates both technology which I’ve always been fond of, as well as being able to keep people safe, as we deal with protecting their identity and holding their trust! It introduced me to a lot of new concepts and platforms which I wasn’t familiar of!
Q: What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
My first memory of the SSU was during my orientation in first year. I was pretty confused on basic directions as it was my first time at the college. The lovely front desk support helped me out and made sure my questions didn’t go unanswered!

Establish an amazing career in cybersecurity
Buy a nice apartment
Adopt at least 3 kittens

Q: What's the best SSU event you've attended so far?
I enjoyed attending the FIFA Watch party. It was so much fun and there were great food options!
