Q: Tell us about you and your role within the SSU
When I first started at Sheridan, I was nervous about making friends but thankfully the community here was so friendly! What brought me to work for the SSU is helping fellow Sheridan students out; be a line of support whenever they need it.
Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
Some of my goals for my role this year is to improve my communication skills. I want to be able to properly connect students with the services and resources that they're looking for and need.
Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
I'm in the Honours of Bachelor Illustration program. I chose Sheridan because it's one of if not the best Illustration programs in Canada.
Q: What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
I first discovered the SSU in Winter 2025, when I was in the Art Fundamentals program. I attended a welcome week event, where I met so many people, it was wonderful seeing such a lively and warm community.
Q: What are 3 things on your bucket list?
Travel internationally with friends
Have my work in an art book for a movie, tv show or video game
Go hang gliding or paragliding
Q: Which SSU Perk Partner is your personal favourite?
The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), I enjoy sketching at museums.
Q: What's the best SSU event you've attended so far?
I haven't attended many before so I can't say I have a favourite yet.
