I’m jasmine and I’m a certified nerd, love talking and helping people and excited to be joining the SSU to promote all the great events coming to Sheridan.

[I] supported the promotion and execution of student events, campus outreach, and direct student engagement. Collaborate with the team to increase student participation and create a welcoming campus experience.

I wanted to work with SSU to push myself out of my comfort zone and become a more extroverted person.

I am an international student, the SSU show me how college can be a community you can meet new people. Sheridan gave me the opportunity to build a great start of my career.

I wanted to be more involve with the college, that’s what made me join the SSU.

If I could make even a single person experience better, then I want to be a part of that cause.

I really enjoy being a part of something that is dedicated to making a positive impact on our community.

My goals for my role this year is to engage with the students and show them what SSU has to offer!

The SSU is a great fit for me, as I enjoy engaging with my fellow peers at Sheridan and contributing to memorable experiences that make students feel more connected to the Sheridan community. I am looking forward to interacting with students from different programs during events and pop-ups.

What made me want to work for the SSU is the SSU's engagement, representation, and success for students. I look forward to making new connections and growing in the wonderful position I have been given.

In my role as a Promotions & Engagement Team Member with the SSU, I help promote SSU events, initiatives, and services while connecting with students and helping make campus life more exciting. I’m excited to bring my creativity, positive energy, and skills to the team!
